I am wondering if anyone recognizes the maker, because I can't find a mark. I only have the lampshade, which someone converted to a hanging lamp. My mother gave it to me (I'm 50 yrs old), and her father gave it to her, so I'm guessing it's early 20th century.

I have this same lamp shade!! It was a gift to my great grandma on her wedding day from her parents. I received it from my granda when she passed. I was told it was a Tiffany. My mom says she still has the original paperwork. Mine was also converted from a floor lamp to a hanging lamp. It now hangs over my dining room table :-)

Oh btw... I had an appraiser look at it and he said the markings were on the lamp stand. He said if I ever came across a Tiffany lamp stand to buy it so the two pieces can be put together! My Great Grandma I believe was married in either 1899 or 1900. Like I mentioned this was her wedding gift from her folks!
