Since I'm getting in the habit now, and we're having a Rindskopf day ...
Alfredo has just posted a beautiful Rindskopf with serpent, and Bohemianglassandmore posted a stunning "pepita" earlier, so this is my contribution - an 8 1/2" pepita with snake. And yes, it does need a thorough wash - it only just arrived.
It looks great, but the photo is not high enough resolution to show details.
Is there any way you can add better quality photos to show more details?
Thanks for sharing.
Scott
And I think that's a little better.
Thank you scandinavian_pieces - I think this colour scheme is amazing. The colour contrast really shows off the iridescence, even though it's quite a matt finish.
And thank you all for the loves!
Thank you Scandinavian_pieces. The rain isn't doing the clematis much good as you can imagine! If it carries on like this, I'll have to move on to a different one - the Montana has had it.
Scandi, I collect clematis like I collect glass - not wisely but too much ("well" would be pushing it), especially given my garden makes a stamp look spacious. If we are not careful we will have to start a clematis forum (I have a Wisley too) - but if you only have room for one more take a look at Florida sieboldi, it's fab.
Scandi, don't start me on blue, or indeed choosing - this is about glass not clematis! I must get a grip.
Great! Of course, you have room for at least another half dozen on that fence...
Now, I have to do some work! Have a good day too.
Hmmm - definitely time to start looking! Multi-blue? Ocean pearl? Crystal fountain? No - glass. Glass. Not clematis!
Meanwhile, & on subject, thanks to all the non-gardeners for the loves :)
Sorry to be so remiss in my response - thank you all for the loves, LeahGoodwin, inky, vetraio50, Bellin68, MiKKoChristmas11 and austrohungaro!
Thank you, czechman!
Thank you, Slave-to-glass.
Thank you, Hedgewalker!
