pottery stamped AGL

I found this piece at a garage sale. It looked interesting but not sure exactly what it is. It looks like the stamp on the bottom is A GL? At one point looking on the internet I thought it maybe raku pottery but not sure. Anyone know anything about this piece? Thanks, Jen
