Nearly two months ago Jericho posted some great Kralik double gourds. No 4 was a threaded example he described as red threading application "fibre". http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/49768-kralik--shape-3--double-gourd?in=user
This is mine - in a different shape. And before you ask, no, it's not iridescent. It's like red spun sugar on a plain clear glass. It's incredibly tactile, but I'm afraid to handle it and break the threads - which are currently perfect.
Thank you Scandi - and Czechman :)
Thank you all for the loves :)
More loves - exciting! Thank you, all.
take of your rings and grab it- feels good!
Jericho, I have been - got over my nerves and you're right! I've even let my 3 and 5 year olds handle it - they are fascinated by it. The 3 year old says it looks like someone was trying to make the vase look like a toffee apple and hasn't finished!
Thank you Bellin68.
This decor looks so much better when it is photographed by Obscurities!
Ah but it's true, Craig!
Thank you Inky.
