This is a single Plains Indian Child's Moccasin which once belonged to Lissie Adams, of Anadarko, Oklahoma. Lessie passed away in 1974 at 90 years of age, and she was the mother of 2 boy who were born about 1909 and 1911. She lived on the Indian reservation in Anadarko, when she had both boys. She saved only one Moccasin which belonged to one of those boys. Its workmanship is outstanding and even through it mate is lost forever, it is a fine example of American Plain Indian bead work. There is a picture of a small brown paper envelope included with the picture of the moccasin, which is the content of the Medicine Bag I also have listed. Hardbrake
Beautiful beadwork, and nice that you have the provenance too.
