as far as i am aware, from extensive research, there is only this one fork in the world. it is imperial, so it must be a one and only. It has been in the family for generations. the facts about its etiology im afraid have been diluted throught the years with stories of the odd DEVIL fork with a spooky octopus on its tines!
the spoon is another oddity...GD maker, ive dated it to the late 1780's yet ive fallen on difficult times unearthing this MM! i'll add pics of the marks once i locate my loupe! you know for the extra special third eye 10x close up's with your camera phone...you didnt know that?

so I discussed the FORK with a very wise friend of mine who has a collection of fine art and a vintage Ag collection of flat and hollowware to make most stutter. well this is a Gorham Narragansett pattern. As we know Narragansett is some if not the most rare sterling flatware on the market. Ill add more pics when im finished "shaking".
