My parents bought this lamp out west, maybe Wyoming or S. Dakota, in 1950. I was 8 and I can remember them seeing it in a small store. I don't know the wood or finish and it's intriguing how the hole for the cord was put through since it isn't a straight line. I would appreciate any information about this lamp.

Is there any kind of label or mark on the bottom? I am assuming it is actual wood, not ceramic? If so, it's possible that it's a one of a kind. It's really beautiful, I love it.

It 's definitely wood and doesn't have nay marks or name on it. I think your right on being one of a kind. If I remember there was another similar lamp, but not as neat as this one..
