U S A F - 10 ON BACK OF BILL
these go from 10 bucks to 200.
Good find ! Hard to get one with the bill in it, there should also be some perforated wallet size picture with the album that would be over the area were you see the inner sleeve.
I'm not sure of the value but overall looks to be in awesome condition
I myself am a huge Cooper fan having seen dozens of his earlier shows. Alice Cooper is credited for bringing make-up to the Rock & Roll stage, as he was the first to do it.
When you see an Alice Cooper show live, you are in for an experience, as he is the ONLY rock star to give the audience a true theatrical stage performance complete with various costume changes, props, and of course the grand finale of killing himself on stage in such devices as an electric chair, guillotine, or even being hanged. Even if one doesn't care for his music, they are sure to enjoy his live shows; A true performer!
This album you have is of course his "Billion Dollar Babies" LP that was released in 1973. This album complete, should have the Billion Dollar bill (Which you have) and it should also have an inner sleeve for the LP, and it should also have an insert that displays photos of the band members. The value of this album complete is not much, you can buy these at collector stores or online for around $35-$50 depending on condition. Putting the value aside, this is one of Alice's BEST albums and is a must have for any Alice Cooper fan. Alice wrote the song "Billion Dollar Babies" as a reflection of his great wealth at such an early age in his career! He and the band members would call themselves billion dollar babies jokingly as they kept raking in the $$. VERY COOL album lundy and nice to see you have the Billion dollar bill insert.
ha thanks ,do you have one of these
I finally found one of these at a garage sale fully intact with all inserts & the $ bill in it ! in excellent condition Hard to come by for sure.
well you could of had mine ,im not a collector of albums ,i mainly buy and resell
I once long ago... found a promo pack with 4 original glossy 8 X 10's of Alice and the band. Red cover folder with some hand typed promo sheets attempting to explain the Alice Cooper band which is truly hilarious... I had to sell the folder promo & photo's on line for $1,200 when I moved to California ( Wish I still had it )
But I did kept one of the 6 page original "Alive enterprises Alice Cooper -Third Generation Rock" promo sheets (I just found it !) I just took photo's and am posting it on my show & tell right now. So go check it out ! I hope to get it Autographed some day soon, now that I live in San Diego
thats great ill check em out ,
No, I do not have the album myself. I don't collect LPs just mostly vintage posters, but I do have the original Alice Cooper comic book that Marvel put out. That's a good gag for sure! Let me know if you ever come across original Alice Cooper concert posters, I would be interested in buying them. Thanks and EXCELLENT find.
ha zguy ill keep my eye out thanks
