My sister & I inherited our 90 year old father's estate of mostly glassware. This is our favorite piece, but we cannot find it online or in any antique glasswork classification books. Is it a wine decanter, a candle holder, a vase, or just an art piece? It has metal surrounding it. Can someone help us identify it?

Try and make a search on Rindskopf.

      Here's a couple of links:

You guys (or ladies) solved the mystery, and we thank you very much. Looks like it just might be valuable. At least we may have a bit of inheritance coming afterall since the resthome took every drop of money our poor old dad had. 30 boxes full of stuff like this to go through. Wait until you see the next piece I post coming up next!

My pleasure! I'm looking forward seeing the rest of the contents of those 30 boxes. It seems your late father was a man of excellent taste.

Are we allowed to give e-mail addresses on this site so that we can personally talk to other collectors?
