I was at the local spring auto swap meet 9 days ago and saw this old boy leaning against a tree taking life easy. I rushed over to check it out, and was excited to see that it was in my price range. Very cheap ! I bought it and got it home and oiled all the bolts, and in no time had it apart. It looked like crap, but someone had sandblasted and primered it, then must have hung it up for a couple years. A little rust had formed, but the bike was in great condition. I cleaned it up and put fresh primer on it and some spot putty. I have parts on order for it, and my friend Mike is going to lace up some rims with a modern 3 speed so it is rideable. I shot some burgundy satin on it for that vintage look. Can't wait to ride it.
Thanks much officialfuel and Manikin.
