funkywoman…
(1 item)
I was given this vase last week by a woman who owns a flower shop. I was looking for old chipped or useless vases to use in my art work, she cleaned off her shelves, telling me a Dr. wife brought this in to her and she couldn't use it. I have no idea what kind of glass it is, but I know it is too beautiful to use for my art work. Anyone know the histor/? It is opaline? It is clearly hand blown glass with the swirl handles and the bottom has the area where it was cut from the ball of glass.
Here are some measurements: I also added 2 more photos
15 1/2 inches high
4 1/2 at widest part
lip 3 inches
base 4 1/4 inches
no marks or signatures on the bottom?
No, just the dull area in the middle where it was cut off. I will take more photos of the bottom and the inside .
measurements would help as well.
I have added 2 more photos and the measurements to help anyone identify this piece. There are no markings or signatures on the bottom.-
that should help some of the artglass folks around here - sorry I'm not familiar with the style! best of luck.
I've never seen anything like this. I look forward to one of the glass people weighing in on this one1
