Garage sales seemed less plentiful this week, usually is on holiday weekends and being Mother's day and the Minnesota Fishing Opener counts as a holiday around here.
I liked the stuff I found but didn't get that "amazing find" feeling everyone likes to get now and then. That being said I did especially like the The spear fishing decoys, the 36" aluminum pipe wrench, the Mauser K98 cleaning kit, the Sons of Norway medals and a 1980's Fuji road bike (not pictured).
If you "spot" something of special interest to you let me know, its always fun to see what other people are interested in.

My Dad used nob-ferrous metal tools, such as the aluminum pipe wrench, as a electrician working on a naval ammunition depot, around explosives.
That said, I see more than one item of yours that I covet.

Is that a calender next to the paperweight? What year is the Paris Underground book? Sounds like a good read. You should have come up north, I have never seen so many sales!!!! But I blew my entire wad (budget) on Thursday so I didn't even go out Fri or Sat which is when most of them started.

      Thanks BELLIN & Manikin,
It's the owner's manual instead of the repair manual. It gives you just the basics like where to find the radio and where to put the gas.
Here is a fun automotive trivia question. What was the last car to hide the gas tank filler cap behind the rear license plate?
I don't know the answer but I know someone out there does.

      mrmajestic1,
Now there is an application for that wrench I never would have guessed. The only advantage I could see was that it was much lighter than a regular wrench that size. what else have you got your eye on?

      Packrat-place,
See if you can make it by Wednesday night, the big day for sales here is Thursday. ...I'll put the coffee on.

      vintagemad,
Yes, it's a spring-loaded brass clip with a perpetual calender for 1910-1920. It is an advertising item for the Levitt Life Insurance Co.
That book is about the Paris resistance to the Nazis and smuggling downed Allied flyers out of France.
The other book, to it's right, is the diary of a leader of the German resistance to the Nazis.
I suppose the garage sale up there are more geared to snagging some of the weekend lake traffic.
