Found this hat at a thrift store and love it!! Have no idea of it's origin or age..if anyone has any idea it would be helpful!!

I have seen hats like this in a museum in Seattle, although this might not be one. They were made by the North West coast indians.

It seems to be a very tight weave for a cedar hat, but I'm no expert. Is that leather at the top? What part of the world did you pick this up?

You would have to find someone nearby that is knowledgeable on the subject, that could look at it in person. Good luck.
