This is one of my favorite finds. This real photo postcard is unused and a bit odd. Took me a minute to really see what it was. Eight legs and four ears.

There has always been a large market for animals that have been born abnormal. Carnivals, and freakshows were big on charging to see 2 headed calves, 2 headed sheep, etc. They would usually be stuffed or stored in large jars of embalming fluid, as they usually did not live long.. There has always been a "curiosity" factor in these type defects, and I have seen where some people have gone to great lengths to buy , display and view these type items. There is a show on cable t.v. currently, that is called"Oddities", which has nothing but strange and bizzare items on it. It is amazing what some people collect and display. Usually when a farmer has an animal like this, they are looked at as special items worth money, not to be hidden away. This has been going on for years! Thrifty
