I remember being given these Dolls by my parent's friends in the early 70's...and they belonged to their kids, so are quite old!! I have packed them around all these years!! Can anyone tell me anything about them, being worth something would be a real reward after having them for almost 40 years, i have never been able to give them up and just keep packing them as I move-they have had quite the journey being in military families and so on :) One is missing a few toes and the other has a loose leg and a sticking eye. Both dolls have moving eyes, well almost :)
They are from late 50's most likely 1960's . Rubber dolls . The one with toes missing is major and really lost her value . The one with waves in hair looks like a Sun rubber doll . Look on back of their necks for company names ok .
here is just a randon sun rubber doll not yours but they made several faces

Thank you, they do look similiar and Ill keep packing them w/ me :) they have missing toes and broken heals..looks to be a "DEE C_ _ on the back of one neck, I cant make out the last two letters??
The Dee An Cee doll was made by a Canadian Doll manufacturing company, that was in business from 1938-1964, they were bought by Mattel and ceased operation in 1964. This companies motto was "Quality above all"
cool , thats it :) Thanks!!
Great !! I think you mark this as solved :-)
