This is from the original WNEW 102.7.FM New York Rock Radio Library (Catalog No 13.012 Dated July 5, 1969). I heard 50 were made and released to be played on the radio as an intro to the 1969 Tour. My then bass players mother worked for McGraw-Hill who owned WNEW and got us this. The LP contains songs which the Stones were planning to play on the upcoming 69 tour. The songs included are: SIDE ONE Route 66/Walking the Dog /Around and Around/Suzie Q/Everybody Needs Somebody to Love/Off the Hook/I'm Free/ She Said Yeah and SIDE TWO Under My Thumb/Stupid Girl/2000 Man/Sympathy for the Devil/Prodigal Son/Love in Vain. There are broadcaster notes on the back (unreleased Love in Vain reference) and a (then) discography with a photo of Mick in white before a pair of riding boots. The front has a great photo from the Sympathy for the Devil studio sessions. The vinyl LP LONDON RSD-1 Made in USA Not for Sale ZAL 9206-A is completely playable and in pretty damned good condition for being over 40 years old. Hey... It's Christmas!!!About the seller:I played "Keith Richard" in Sticky Fingers (the blue eyed keith) where I met Old KR and Stonesdoug at a S.F. gig in Hagerstown, MD. I have my own stash which includes most of the Stones vinyl (w attached postcards), tour programs and magazines like the 75 Rolling Stones Special w fantastic pictures. I am a big Shidoobee fan. I also played in Bawdy Rooster and The Junkyard Dawgs (blues and original rock bands in Chicago). I played! on Comc ast Cable's Chicago Concert Series, Battle of the Bands, The Tom Bonnick Show and appeared on Paul Perillo's Blues Hour. I got to play slide guitar for Elmore James Jr. in Chicago Southside blues bars and performed with Lonnie Baker Brooks. We performed 100-200 shows a year in the Midwest for 7 years. Green Bay to St. Louis, Iowa to Indiana. I Volunteer work for Musicians On Call helping hospital patients with neurological injuries, cancer, paralysis and spine/neck injuries. I also visit halfway houses around NYC and volunteer with budding Stones musicians trying to get "clean and serene". I'm in the studio weekly with friends enjoying originals and covers.
