I am extremely happy with this Micro Mosaic ring. Coming from Germany and hallmarked 750 (18 K) decorated with gorgeous Etruscan wirework and beadwork.
It is approximately late Victorian (created about 1900). Beautifully in combination with my Micro Mosaic brooch that I've already showed previously on this site. Do you agree that the style is Etruscan?
The brooch (also 18K) is set in Biedermeier mounting with little pearls. Not the same style as the ring but wonderful matching together.
Hello BELLIN68 and Kevin, Thanks again for your nice comment and loving my jewels!
Thanks Woman34 and kerry10456
I would say that the brooch is Victorian in style, because bows were very common motifs then and seed pearls were very common. The ring on the other hand looks very Etruscan to me. These are absolutely fantastic pieces... I'm not just saying that either, these are extremely desirable, extremely beautiful, and very valuable. Did you pay retail for these or did you find them at a thrift store or something?
The brooch I bought on an European eBay site outsite my country and the ring I won on an auction from an auction also not in my own country. That's the luck in speaking more languages I think.
The brooch is from what the Germans call Biedermeier and this means between 1815 and 1848 that's what they told me about the period. In another comment you asked me how to call me. I want to tell you but not here in public to save my privacy. But is you can mail me on my private mail address than I will gladly give you my name.
MrsAR8Jason, chinablue and bratjdd thanks for loving!
