Hi, I have researched this pitcher a lot and I do not understand the Hallmarks. Is it a un-license Spratling piece from 1951? Just not sure looking for a little help. Thanks Paul pmrocka@msn.com

Looks like the right mark. Did you find out anything from anyone else?

No, I have not heard from anyone.

The eagle and 13 mark was used between 1949-1952 and only used for the Spratling Conquistador design. So your piece dates between that time. Very nice pitcher!

Also, that little mark beside the word "conquistador" signifies that it was produced in the Conquistador's factory in Mexico City and not at Spratling. The Conquistador factory signed a contract with Spratling in 1949 to produce it's designs and Spratling would make royalties.
