This sewing chair has a drawer that pivots out from the side. This drawer has compartments and a couple of leather straps in it for sewing notions and thread. This chair is well constructed, and seems too well built to be homemade. Anybody out there have any more info and possibly a value for me? Found it in Spokane, Wa.

Good question. That's what I wondered too. It appears that's the way it was built. It's very well done. I don't know if this was a one-off custom made, or it there were others. I'm hoping to learn that here.
      Thanks for your interest.

I've had 2 different customers who've actually seen one of these before. So it seems it's not a one-off. I've been told the chair was low to make hemming easier.
