    Hardbrake
    (30 items)

While shopping at a Garage Sale, I was pulling books out of a cardboard box and reading the titles. On my second box of books I found a small blue box which I opened and found it to contain a 2 way light bulb. I had never seen a bulb like this one and it appears to be in unused condition. I approached the lady who was having the sale with the blue box and bulb and requested its price. She did not know anything about the bulb and told me to make and offer. I suggested 20.00 dollars and she excepted. I took this bulb home and place it in a table lamp and it worked on both "bright and dim" settings. That was the only time I have used this lamp. The bulb's signs are made of yellowed celluloid and are hung from a small piece of cotton string. The bulb has a serial number hand written on the in side which is 21114. I store the bulb in the blue box which has held it for many years and someday I will display it in a safe manner. If anyone know anything about bulbs please let me know about this bulb. Hardbrake

Hunter that is a flash photo, I use a Norma 800 watt studio system whit 2, 2400 studio lights one for fill and a second one to act a both a main light and a back ground light. I take my pictures with a Nikon D3, and I shot these pictures with a Nikon f/2.8 105 macro lens. Photography is to me is a passion and not to bring it up but I love it. I also enjoy still life photography and I use some of my junk in my still life photo's. I hope I did not boar you but you ask Hardbrake

Thanks Walksoftly, you're right it does. I would bet money that it is made by the same people and more the likely made in the same time frame. I will go there when I have some time and read what they have to say. Hardbrake

Thank you Hunter, I have owned the studio light for over 20 years and they are still in good shape and the Nikon and lens is about 5 years old now but I like Nikon for its lenses. The photograph I have posted as my photo on my listing is a still life I took. Hardbrake.
