Can anyone tell me anything about this stove . My Aunt gave it to me about 15 years ago . It is very dusty since it has been in storage for so long but is still really shiny Is there somewhere specific I can look on it for information. Would it be any kind of efficient at all to use for heat.

These are a later repoduction stoves made in the 1980's. I have a couple that I bought new from Montgomery Wards back around 1980-85. Thanks for showing this one.

They work okay, but the grates in these seem to melt away and fall apart easy. They also build up ashes quickly and hard to clean out while still warm, because of the grate set-up. Also you will need to stove puddy the seams of the sides about twice a season to keep it some what air-tight.

Your welcome and I forgot to add earlier, there is a screen and cast piece that clips over the front door opening , if you want a open hearth style look, you can sit and watch the fire burning with that assecory.
