      Looks like a halloween or theater costume. No native American would use seam binding or sewing machine! It's hard to tell the material from a photo. Might be leather.

      Actually, many earlier pieces were made on a hand crank or treadle machine and red binding was used in bags and mocs around the turn of the 19th/20th century. This shirt is not an early piece, possibly regalia for Pow Wow use.

      I will defer to your expertise! I was thinking of authentic Indian dress, as in antique. It never occurred to me it might be modern, Pow Wow wear.
