My kids like this jar. Their grandma used to put her homemade cookies in it. I'm thinking it was manufactured in the 70's (kinda retro). It measures 11 1/2" tall and 28" around the largest part. If you know the history of this cookie jar, please let me know. There are no labels on the bottom, so I can't research it easily.

My grandmother has this very same cookie jar. It was a gift to her in 1963. So it's at least 54 yrs old. Very cool!! Definitely a favorite!

I don't know the manufacturer or when it was made, but you might find it interesting that this particular ceramic pumpkin cookie jar was a part of the set dressing of the Mary Tyler Moore show. It sat on the counter that separated the small kitchen from the living room in season 1 of the show.
