Keating Randolph Donahoe is the artist.
We have found out some information, but are puzzled as to why we have yet to find his obit or more about his talents. What we have found out so far comes from Ancestry.com, Genealogybank, etc. We found a few newspaper articles about some of his statuettes and a few statues, but nothing so far about his sketches.
He was born Feb 8, 1912 in OK and died Aug 1979 in OK. We have added pic of one found newspaper article.
We believe, when Ralph's father attended OU he acquired the prints and then framed them. That would be about 1928-1930. Unless, he acquired them after he moved to Texas (in 1930) during a visit to OK. Although, Mr. Donahoe seemed to be heavily into sculpting and ceramics by then.
The prints are yellowed and have spots on them, however, they are intact. Each measures: 9"x12". Notice on each "print" is hand written "Imp" for impression.
All input appreciated.
Thanks.
