Another item from the garage sales on the weekend, this one my wife went back to get after we left the yard, she said it was calling her name. Personally I didn't here it, but I'm glad she did. It's had a lot of loving hands on it over the years, based on the wear marks. At some point though I think it wouldn't shut up & someone wrung his neck. apx 13" tall

Yes I listened to that one many times, even tried to sing it but could never hit the high notes. I see on my previous post I didn't finish the sentence with "her".
Cool & rainy up here has been for a week, I'm not sure you want our cold air, cold air from Canada & warm air from the Gulf equals tornadoes.
Walksoft my life seems to be a tornado so I will take the cool air to go along with it :-) Hot flashes vs cold flashes in body I say one day a real tornado will go off in me when they meet lol
I'll take cool over heat any day.

I think she is " Molly "! My Grandmother loved ducks and that was her name :-)
Well "Molly" sounds nice, but I will have to ask the owner of said duck.

Tell Sherry Molly is a very good name and when The duck acts up she can always say " Good Golly Miss Molly ! " :-)

Sherry picked a good name ! I knew she was smart she married you . And ducks do tend to want to get in trouble so good golly miss Molly fits a duck to a tee:-) I love her the duck that is and I really like Sherry she seems like a wonderful lady .
We used to keep the baby ducks in wood stove to hatch and always had a stove full of baby ducks are chicks in there . No we didn't cook on that one :-) LOL

My Maternal Grandparents always had chickens, turkeys & usually a few ducks, they always spent there first week or two in the summer kitchen in a wood box next to the wood stove.
That was our normal, on the farm.
I think our families crossed paths at some time . maybe one of my Canada family met yours so much in common :-)
