I picked up the Art Deco French bed a week ago, because I thought that it was very pretty. I already had the Antique curved footboard bed and I really was looking to change and use the French bed. However when I set that bed up, it looked too fancy. Now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard shell and don't know which way to turn. I really think that the color threw me off, because I'm use to dark furniture. If someone could possibly give me more information about either bed it will be appreciated. I know that the art deco bed is made out of Satinwood, but I'm really not sure about the other and would love to know more about the dark one. Thanks

I'd vote for the one on the left.

I'm a blonde wood type of guy. That cabinet on the left looks interesting too!

Vetraio50, That's my mismatched antique waterfall dresser that I'm about to get rid of because it doesn't match everything else in the room. I am really finding it hard to part with my Walnut bed, I think I'm gonna keep that one. Thanks Sewingfool for your information on the bed you have. I always thought that this bed was made of Walnut, and I don't think it has veneer. Looks to be one solid piece, It is also on casters. I wonder around what era was this bed made?

The casters are not on the bed in the picture, however I put them back on when I set the bed back up again. After I realized I didn't want the art deco bed.

Sewingfool do you have any pictures of your bed? I would love to see it!
