Have been told that this lighter needs a flint spring..does anyone know where they are available???
Fabulous two sided "Guilloche" Clark sterling silver lighter with double wheel liftarm mechanism. This liftarm was first invented circa 1926 by William Foster Clark of Attleboro, MA. This lighter measures 1.25 wide X 1.50 high. .
"Sterling" stamped on the bottom and CLARK LIGHTER Pat. July27, 1926
Ollie,
I don't know what the odds of you finding a new spring for this lighter are, but I would think they are pretty slim. I collect lighters, and have never really been able to find a good source for replacements.I usually buy up old lighters that dont work or need parts. I have been lucky is some cases of finding what I need that way. Flea markets and yard sales are good sources. Hope that helps. TG
