These spurs are the crown jewels of my spur collection. Hoppy was a huge influence in my boyhood. Taught me more about right and wrong than Mom ever did,( along with Gene and Roy). i guess they're nickel silver, the leather is dry and cracked , but i don't care. I love them regardless of their condition. But with new leather i could strap them on jump up on ole Topper, lasso the bad man and save the school marm!
What great old spurs...and you're right about the influence of the heroes we had during that time. A lot different than today, for certain!
