Skep he is wonderful ! he seems to be a character maybe from old TV show or comic books ? The ER on hat maybe the clue . He is very nice but I am not sure who he is :-( But I enjoyed seeing him . Maybe it will come to me . I keep thinking keystone cops ??????
Is it a Pelham Puppet?
It sure has many characteristics of a Pelham puppet Vetraio50 . Made in the 1960's . I am wondering why ER is on hat if that was company intials ? but you may have hit it with Pelham Made in England ?
I havnt the slightest idea,i was hoping someone would enlighten me with the history of it.
Does it have a tag on clothes any place that says Pelham ir also look at the part of wood you hold in your hand to manipulate him see if it says anything there Skep. They usually tagged their puppets .
Hi Mani. This would be an English puppet and is of a "Bobby". The Bobby's hat (Home Office pattern helmet) has ER on it referring to the reigning queen or Elizabeth Regina: Queen Elizabeth II.
Thanks Vetraio !. Then it seems most likely you hit the maker as Pelham made in England . I love learning thank YOU :-)))) I would never have figured out the ER and I do love England and it's history . Appreciate your filling me in Vetraio are you in England ?
Hi Manikin. No, in another former English colony called Australia!
I have a dear friend in Sydney vetraio50 who works at Opera house . Love Australia , very beautiful . Thanks for insight into hat too :-)
Thanks Mannie. She's not Yvonne H?
