24" x 20" I found this beauty in a home i bought, still wrapped in plastic it takes beautiful pics. There is a care note inside plastic that reads "CARE FOR ORIGINAL OILS: Clean with water only. If canvas gets dented, sponge dented area with water." It is not dated or numbered. The signature seems to be a lot different from other G. WhiTman oil paintings. The "G" especially. Also signature is in the left hand corner.
My little spidey senses went off when I saw your painting. It looks like painting mill work to me. I'm not saying it's not what it seems to be, but you need to do your homework. This looks like the same scene as mine posted but the quality looks to be compromised and the signature.
I have a 12x16 oil painting, matted and framed and signed by G. Whitman. Signature is in the bottom left hand corner. Also, on the back of the canvas is a red circle with the initials A.L in it. Can anyone shed any light on this? Wish I could post a picture of it.
