This is an extremly example of very old Micro Mosaic and I'm very glad to show you "my private dancer" brooch.
It's a large brooch of 2.5 x 2 " ( 6 x 5 cm) set in at least 18 K gold. It's a pity but as so many of this kind of jewels you can see there is a crack at the back site of this brooch. But it did not harm the Micro mosaic work.
How older the Micro mosaic the finer the tesserae. If you take a look at the very fine made tesserae the dancing man was made this is a work of art and patience. So all in all it's a quite old (1850s) very beautiful piece of jewelry. I would like to hear your opinion !
Thanks vertraio050, BELLIN68 and AR8Jason for loving this brooch.
The quality is amazing!
Davyd286 thank you.

Has anyone an idea what region this costume submitted might be?
I am delighted that so much interest is coming for that wonderful old Micro Mosaic crafts processed in antique jewelry. Similarly, the differences that exist with respect to the age. The oldest, the smallest tiles or tesserae. Do you want to see the difference once again but then compare the Micro Mosaic jewelry from my collection. See link:
