Hello all, I am so glad I found this site! I have tons of old things, from movie posters, lobby cards, records, bottles, etc...too much to mention!
I love finding stuff at garage sales and flea markets. Usually, I can find any info. on here if I search long and hard enough,BUT this sign has kicked my butt! Been on computer about 7 hours now. Cannot find ANYTHING even close to figure out anything about it, so PLEASE help...Also what is the best way to get the rust off?
The back of this sign says Property of WF Schrafft & Sons Corp. Boston 29 Mass. and on the bottom it says Century Display~Chicago-Made in USA...and it is 28 inches by 81/2
I am really anxious to get info. about this because of not being able to find another one, Thanks in advance!
Hi, and thanks. I was so excited to find a blog site, I didn't read rules too closely. On the side all kinds of E bay listings were popping up, I assumed it was a site to get info...I didn't get much from the article as far as sign info, I can't find anything anywhere. And depending on what I find out, I might not sell it, I have a hard time letting go of stuff once I have researched and if it has history, I have alot of things to get info. on, that I am not selling!
I understand, but trust me, I put in my time, ALL NIGHT, lol, it's so odd not find something even close, it can't be the only one. I searched every site, phrase, web image, and nothing but a lot of "Tins" and a few signs but nothing like mine.
I have all of my Dad's stuff he collected, plus my stuff so I have a bit of everything and no knowledge other than what I can find online...It is so time consuming when you have something rare and so frustrating!
