A local buy & sell shop acquired someone's fossil collection at an estate sale. Many of the fossils were striking and I wanted them all (as I've had a love love for rock & fossil hunting since childhood) but I've dreamed of owning a megalodon shark tooth ever since I saw a photo of a person standing in a set of it's prehistoric jaws. Now I can't be positive of it's species but it's a really big shark tooth that's a fossil & I love it.

when i was a kid, i had a very similar one which my grandfather gave me. i lost it when i brought it to school for show and tell when i was in the 3rd grade. i think you've found it for me!

I bought 1 from a shop in St. John, USVI & when I inquired, it came from S. AL. A little more checking & found out they are digging them out of creek banks by the bucketfuls a few miles from where I went to aviation school. Wish I had known then!
It is awesome to hold something this old in your hand.
