I recently came upon this item while cleaning out my parent's home. It was thought to have belonged to my Father who was born in 1915. It is assembled with folding metal tabs entirely and seems to have a lady driver. The front grill sports a "Ford" signature across the top of the radiator. Being nostalgic, I would like to restore it as far as possible but I do not know the original type of wheels/tires or an approximate age so any information I can find will be greatly appreciated.

It was made by Gebruder Bing of Nurnberg and had tinplate spoked wheels and a integral-key clockwork motor. If you can find appropriate wheels and motor, you really have a good shot at restoring this. Lithographed versions would be nigh impossible to duplicate. You might get lucky on ebay.de since parts lots come up from time to time there.

Here's one in good shape, to give you an idea:

You can find the pretty easily for research purposes, I would investigate thoroughly to make sure yo get the right motor. For example, know the distance between the axle and the key.
