This stein was in my grandfathers family in Gothenburg, Sweden for many generations and has been handed down to me. It is 7 inches high and has a 6 inch diameter.

I am the last surviving family member thus I have no way to find out it's age, origin, history, etc. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Florida, thank you for the info but I have already researched those sites. I have been trying to track this down for some time now with no joy.

Does anyone know free sites where I can research the designs on the side and top of the stein?
