This is my Dad's old Panhead. Taken about 1973.He found it out in the country and traded 4 chrome reverse wheels, a shotgun, 1 flat bottom boat and 200.00 for it. I loved that bike. He didn't like the rough ride, so, he traded the hardtail frame for a 68 swingarm-I know this would be a no-no today, but in 1970, it wasn't that big of a deal. He was a policeman in a small Texas town for quite a while. He went to Colorado several times from here in Central Texas and at least once to Mexico. I went with him to Denver in 1970, I sat on a boat cushion sitting on the luggage rack on top of the back fender. I was about 12 at the time. Now I have to have a Mustang seat.
