      It was hard to make out the characters. I think it's a 1 Bahi coin from Thailand. The man on the front is probably the king.

      You are correct Babalooie... This is a one Baht coin (Nickel). It is the King on the front & the back is the Temple of Dawn, with the Kings boat. I spent 19 months in Thailand when I was in the Army, & have been to the Temple of Dawn where the King himself worships the Budda. The King is the only one who opens the Tempel of Dawn ONCE a year!!! (Meaning he opens the buildings so you can go inside.) The rest of the year the buildings are closed, but you can look around!!
      Inside each building are Solid Gold Buddas!!
