(1 item)
Good afternoon,
First I love your show and I'm alway looking for good stuff.
My wife and I love going to antique stores where ever we go. I just retired from the navy, and have been collecting lanterns and oil lamps for some time. We were out this weekend and came accross this lamp.
Between the two of us we have never seen a lamp like this in any store to date. I had to have it, merry xmass to me, However I'm having some trouble finding any thing out about it. I know it is from the akron lamp co. and they folded up shop about 1949 past that can't find much else.
Do you have any great all knowing insight on this lamp or can you guide me in a direction. The internet is not a great help.
Once again I love you show and I am always looking for cool stuff, keep it up and any help you can give would be great.

Navy-John, I'm not an expert but I believe it is a lamp, gas type.
John what you have is a model 105G akron chandalier made in akron ohio. I would say it is a very early one due to the type of tank that is on it. I would guess around 1910-1920. I have one like it that I fully resored to working order. If you are interested in selling you lamp please let me know as I would be interested.
This is a picture of mine in full running order jusy don't have the original glass shades on it.
