    My mother always treasured this piece. Unfortunatly- I never found out the history of it before she passed. Looks like various pieces of broken pottery were stuck into clay onto a pie plate. As you can see in the photo it is signed. Were these a common arts and crafts project for that era...what were they called...any value?
