Very heavy round metal cut work lamp with hinged lid supported by two beautiful nude ladies...once had paper like insert with in lamp so when lit it would glow..unfortunately it did not survive. It is electric. Anyone have an idea of whom or what period it is from?
looks like it had a red liner - a boudoir lamp?
Beautiful, Art Deco, spelter or white metal night light in the style of frank art. It could have had a mica or waxed cardboar liner. I would date it to the 1930's. I would be very careful with this, as the white metal becomes very fragile with age.

Some appear to have mica inserts as r-sd noted.
