The “Ravenswood” was one of the Hammond Clock Co.’s earliest models, produced ca. 1929-1931. Hammond was one of many, many clock manufacturers of the day to follow Warren Telechron’s lead in producing a pointed arch ‘Cathedral’ style case – perfect for your Tudor Revival style home! Radio makers adopted the form several years later. This clock is mottled deep red-brown Bakelite. There’s a knob on the back that must be spun (“spin-to-start”) to get the clock running, and on the dial is a circular 'tell tale' window directly below the stem, through which a black & white rotating flywheel is visible to let you know it’s operating. Clock measures about 7" H x 5 1/8” W x 3” D with a 3 5/8” dial.

      Mathew,
If your clock has a wood case with copper then it's not the same as this Ravenswood, which has a bakelite case. Maybe you could post some photos here so we can get a better idea of what you've got?
