Well, anybody that can tell me anything about this item would be greatly appreciated. It measures 12.5 inches tall by about 8 inches wide. It's electric and fits a standard size small bulb. I think what is in it now is an oven light bulb. It belonged to my mom and dad and acquired, I think, by my mom from her long time girlfriend. This particular friend had an amazing store full of all kinds of stuff from floor to ceiling. It delighted me as a child when we would go visit. So, I think that is where this item came from, but not sure. Have no idea of the value. No identifying marks that I can find. The fruit is all glass. The stand, rim of "bowl" and handle I think are brass. Please, I welcome any and all comments. As you can see, it still works and is lit up in the picture.

Wow! Thank you so much. Had no idea of its origin or the age, much less the fact that it is desirable and collectable. Definitely a gem.
