the red one is obviously much older than the yellow one, but i like them both alot. i've been collecting interesting pots for planting in for many years, but have found quite a few beauties in the last two years.
some more photos for the imaginary 'garden category'....

We are always trying to add new categories, though it can be a slow process. Planters/jardinieres is on the list, but if you think of others you'd like to see on the site, on a category page (like Art Pottery http://www.collectorsweekly.com/art-pottery/overview), scroll down to the bottom of the left-hand menu and click "suggest a category."

i just realized that there's no scale for the photo of these pots. they are very large each holds about 16-20 gallons of soil. the one on the left is a very old mission-style pot - high-fire terracotta - and the one on the right is a very nicely used low-fired one from the 70s. great patina on both.
