My Father In Law picked this piece up on the side of the road in the late 60's. All we know about it is it was made by OTTAWA Furniture Co in Holland Michigan. I have researched but can't find out more information about it.
Any information found would be welcomed!
I have one very similar to this, mine has two centre drawers & leaded glass in the doors. Same overall design, love it!
Here is an ad for the company

My parents have a "few" pieces of furniture that resemble that wood pattern. If I am not mistaken it is called Zebra Wood due to the unique pattern of the grain.
Very pretty piece!
It's not Zebra wood, it's quarter sawn oak, a standard material for the period. Zebra wood has a pattern of light & bark bands running parallel to each other.
It could also be a veneer, do you have the piece available to look for seams?
