My mom just picked up this old crock from a yard sale in the Louisville, Kentucky area and asked if I could help her identify it. We don't care so much to see what it is worth, we just want to satisfy our curiosity as to what it was used for and where it came from, etc. The only identification it has is a light blue Native American seal on the front with some illegible writing, and what seems to be a number two or a cursive Q on the bottom.
LOUISVILLE POTTERY STONEWARE would be the maker. The logo has blue stars around the head. Hope this answers your question.
Thank you so much.
Nice solve Kerry !!!!!!!!!!!
