As far as I can tell, this model transistor came in 6 colors; the four you see here, a white one which I also have, and a lavender one that I have so far been unable to secure. I've only seen one of those offered for sale and it went for a BUNDLE. All of these work perfectly.

When I was living in Anchorage, Alaska back in the early 70's, we had a drive-in movie theater called Cinema 360. It could accommodate up to 120 vehicles, each with it's own individual screen. There was no speaker system; you would tune in the movie soundtrack on your car radio. For those who did not HAVE a car radio, like myself, you could check out one of these little Panapets at the concession stand. It was free, but you had to hand them your driver's license, which you got back when you turned their radio back in to them. It was really different!

These are very cool , we didn't have them at our drive-inns back in the day . My son lives near Anchorage and I think it is to cold year round for drive in movies in Alaska :-) Takes a hardy person to live there but such beautiful country . Anyway thanks for sharing something I had never seen before . The colors are so 70's also I love them .

Manikin -- actually we DID use one of the drive-in theaters year round in Anchorage. Added to the speaker posts were small electric heaters. The cord was long enough to bring it into your vehicle and set it on the floor. That was one of our favorite pastimes in the winter evenings. It got dark around mid afternoon so the film would start showing earlier than places in the south 48 states, and you could get home at a decent hour.

Manikin -- I lived in Alaska from '72-'76 in my mid-twenties. We hardly even noticed the weather at that age. But two months ago we moved from Wash. State to Florida for the warmth & sunshine, so what does that tell you? LOL
