Here is 1 piece of the First Special Service Force (The Devils Brigade)uniform we aquired last week.
This is the Eisenhower Jacket, which is a little shorter, with cords, patches, and decorations.
Pretty darn nice shape for its age.

      Nice jacket.

The Combat Infantryman's Badge on upside down. He saw some action-- Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster.

Have you checked the pockets for Airborne wings?

All pockets have been checked, there is an airborne patch on a sleeve, other than that, only item in a pocket is a bus ticket stub for Army personnel only to Fort Lewis, stub #04576.

The other regular dress jacket, pants, 2 shirts, tie, belt still need to have pictures taken of them.

The Airborne Command combat patch generated my question about the wings.

Wouldn't doubt if some decorations were removed, boxed, and put away. I still have my Dad's WWII Navy uniform, he removed his decorations and put them as I am sure many others did as well.

He may have gifted the airborne wings. I knew a captain once who's dad gifted him his jump wings when he graduated jump school. The captain always wore his father's wings on his class A uniform, which was obvious because of the pin rather than clutch fasteners.
