My Dad bought this from the Van Briggle factory in the 80's, I think. He is not alive so I can't ask him. It is 17" tall. I cannot find out anything about the artist, MB. I have not seen anything like it.

I think I just answered my own question. It is called Despondency. I saw one on EBay that was only 13" tall. This one is 5" bigger. As for the artist's initials, I have not found that yet. MB
