Lamp purchased in Chicago area late 1930's. Looking for any information about it, i.e. manufacture, value etc. There are no markings we can find on it, we know it is a Tiffany type only.

I doubt very much it is a Tiffany Studio's piece. Two manufactures I would look twords would be B&H [ Bradley and Hubbard ] and Miller Lamp co, these were two of the biggies during the late Victorian/Early Deco period. The base should be marked, unfourtunatly the mark will be under the felt pad. There may be some kind of mark inside of the ring where the shade mounts to the base.
      Nice piece.

While Bradley and Hubbard and the Miller Co. were big lamp manufacturers during that period, since you already know the lamp was bought in Chicago, a far more likely maker is the Chicago Mosaic Lamp Company. In fact, if you go to http://oldlampvalues.com/Chicago_Mosaic_Lamps.html , the lamp on the far right is very similar to yours. I'm sure they could help you with an appraisal as well.

I agree with AntiqueHoader, It is Chicago Mosaic. The shade is very desirable, but the base, not so much. I would put the lamp at $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 Good luck!

This is a Wilkinson shade on a Wilkinson spun brass base. Chicago Mosaic made a shade almost identical to this as did a few other makers like Classique.
