Ahh yes, Flat Fifties Cigarette Tins. Once the tobacco manufactures got on the band wagon and started to commercially make cigarettes in large quantities one of the many types of marketing was in the form of “Flat Fifties” tins. These were flat tins with one layer of two rows of cigarettes with a total of 50 cigs, hence the nick name, “Flat Fifties”. There were also a “Flat 100’s” I might post in a later date but the 50’s were the much more common ones. What I have here are some real old ones and a more current “Camel” one.
